Lifesteal on Waves Gamer
Lifesteal is PvP survival where your health bar is your score. Kill a player and you take one of their hearts; lose them all and you are eliminated for 12 hours unless someone revives you. Everyone starts with 10 hearts and nobody can hold more than 20, so no single player becomes unkillable.
How hearts work
- You start with 10 hearts. The most you can hold is 20.
- A PvP kill takes 1 heart from the victim and gives it to the killer.
- Only PvP moves hearts. Dying to mobs, falls or lava costs you nothing.
- Type
/withdrawto turn one of your hearts into an item you can trade, gift or store.
Crafting
- Heart: 8 diamonds around 1 gold block.
- Revive crystal: 8 netherite ingots around 1 beacon — expensive on purpose.
Elimination and revival
Drop below 1 heart and you are eliminated: banned from the Lifesteal world for 12 hours. A friend with a revive crystal can bring you back early, returning with 3 hearts. Eliminations and heart steals are announced to the server.
What makes this Lifesteal different
- No land claims — the mode is meant to be risky, so raiding is part of it. (Survival keeps claims.)
- A 5,000-block world border, so players actually meet.
- Combat logging is blocked: quitting mid-fight does not save your heart.
- Hard difficulty, and ranks still come only from playtime — no hearts or ranks for sale.

Connect to play.mc.wavesgamer.com (full join guide), register, then type /server lifesteal in the lobby.
Questions
Do I lose a heart if a mob kills me?
No. Only PvP deaths move hearts. Mobs, falls and lava do not cost a heart.
What is the maximum number of hearts?
20 hearts. Everyone starts with 10.
How long is an elimination?
12 hours, or less if another player revives you with a revive crystal.
Are there land claims in Lifesteal?
No. Lifesteal has no claims, so bases can be raided. Survival has land claims if you want a safe build.
Can I buy hearts?
No. Nothing on Waves Gamer is sold — hearts come from PvP kills or crafting.
